New SOS TOOL KITS (Supporting Our Students):

The SOS Tool Kit project was funded by a grant from Michigan Integration Technology Supports (MITS), Michigan Department of Education.

The SOS Kits includes a set of five manuals and a variety of low & mid-tech assistive technology tools targeting the needs of 3rd through 5th grade students in the areas of writing, reading and math. The kit also includes assistive technology tools to aid student organization as well as a variety of resources for teachers. The SOS manual includes a description of each of the tools included in the kit along with ideas for using the tools to support student learning. It also includes reference materials you may wish to use if you decide to purchase any of these supplies for yourself.

The SOS kit will be loaned to teachers and educational staff following a brief presentation overview of the kit. Individuals borrowing the kit are responsible for returning the kit intact. Please keep the manuals with the kit. We encourage you to use the materials freely, but please be sure to indicate if any of the consumable items need to be restocked when you fill out the SOS Tool Kit Feedback form.
